Designing rugs
Almost immediately another challenge presented itself. The correspondence through these years had increased tremendously.
Even with clerical help, which called for dictation in the evening, it became a difficult problem with which to cope. All this kept me more and more from doing that which I loved most — my designing.
Sister May was having her "shelf trouble" too. There simply had to be more shelves to keep the patterns separated, so that she could find the patterns she was seeking without undue delay!
She had "time trouble" too, for no matter how she adjusted and readjusted her meal periods, someone was sure to ring the bell just as she was about to sit down to eat! The tail was beginning to wag the dog!
