Hooking rugs

Although my hobby later grew into a business, I never lost my love of hooking, or my desire to be of service to those who desired to transform my designs into rugs of lasting beauty and loveliness.

It all started in 1930 in such a small way, when I made my first rug design. My interest grew and expanded as my designs increased in number.

As the first ripple from a pebble thrown into a lake reaches out to distant shores, just so did my interest expand into the lives of many people. This craft is not limited to women. It is shared by men and children too!
